FAQ

Q: How long will my wreath last?

A: We recommend that you hydrate the foliage in fresh water before making your wreath to help increase its lifespan. The moss must be kept moist to ensure the foliage stays fresh. If you do both of these things, the wreath should last until the new year. If some of the more delicate foliage wilts, this can be replaced with cuttings from your garden or from a florist.

Q: Can my wreath be displayed indoors?

A: These wreaths are designed to be hung outside. The foliage will not last in the heat of a home and the wreath may leaves markings on an interior wall.

Q: Is the foliage delivered in water?

A: The fresh mixed foliage is delivered in a hydration source, but no liquid water is included in the box to avoid spillages. We recommend you remove the fresh mix foliage on receipt, cut two cm off the bottom of the stems and allow it to sit in fresh water until you create the wreath.

Q: How long does delivery take?

A: You will select your desired delivery date when adding your item to the cart. We will be dispatching the kits the day before your selected delivery day to ensure freshness. We send via Royal Mail, tracked.

Q: can i buy this in a store?

A: This is available for delivery only.

Q: how do I store my box if i don't plan to make my wreath right away?

A: After you have removed your fresh mixed foliage and placed it in water, ensure you leave the rest of the box somewhere cool until you can make your wreath.

Q: where are the instructions?

A: There is a link to an online video tutorial and step-by-step instructions included in the box.

Q: what equipment do i need to make the wreath?

A: The only thing not supplied in the box are scissors/secateurs. You will need gardening scissors to cut the foliage as general household scissors aren't strong enough.

Q: is the kit suitable for children?

A: Children should be supervised at all time with plant materials, scissors and reel wire. They will most likely need help with the more complex parts of the wreath making process.

Q: what if i don't have enough materials?

A: Every element is carefully weighed and packed to ensure you have more than enough materials to create the designs you see on the website. If you wanted to create something larger or fuller you do have the option of adding in extra bits from home. For extra spruce you can cut some foliage from of the less visible parts of your Christmas tree. You can also forage materials from your garden to add in some personalised elements.

Q: Where do you deliver?

A: We only deliver in the UK mainland at the standards postage rate of £5 per order and do not do international shipping.

Q: How long does the wreath take to make?

A: We recommend relaxing and spending a festive few hours making your wreath with friends! If you are really pushed for time you could rush through it and get it done in an hour.

Q: is wreath making messy?

A: Yes! We recommend making the wreaths on a hard floor as the moss and pine needles can be hard to brush off carpets.
